SPN and update on a few Riverway League Rules

All SPN Waivers must be signed by players, so that means that players need to sign into their personal accounts and sign the waiver filling out all the boxes. If they have not signed, they can not step onto the field.

Coaches are responsible for SPN rosters and must ensure that players are current and updated, players have signed waiver. If you can not get into your team SPN rosters, you must call SPN yourself. We can not do this for you. All coaches need to add their players to the team

Riverway rule updates

The league WILL NOT be adopting the 70-foot baseline.

The league WILL adopt the pitcher rule (with the ones who wear full body armour). This means that a temporary runner must be used for a pitcher who is on base with two out, who wears visible outer protective equipment to pitch (ex: mask and leg pads). This will not apply if the pitcher is only wearing a face or head protection, or the protective equipment is worn under the uniform.

Field Prep Day

•Sunday, April 6th

•10 a.m. at Riverway Sports Park

•Once everything is done teams will be able to pick up their boxes of softballs, scorebooks and line-up cards

•New teams will also be provided with a lock-box key so you can access and set-up (when required) the bases for game play

•We ask that two members from every team are present
