The Riverway Slopitch Community is out for blood. Namely your team’s blood.

I am very proud to announce in cooperation with Blood Services Canada our inaugural Riverway Slop-Pitch Blood Drive. The blood drive will run from May 25th to August 25th and is open to all Riverway Community Teams, their families, fans and friends.

While the ball fields may sit idle, our community involvement should not. So let us all join together and demonstrate our communities’ strength by supporting other communities all across BC and Canada.

I would like to thank Jen Thornhill and the Angry Birds ladies team for being the inspiration behind this event.
